Aceclofenac 100 mg + Paracetamol 500 mg
Aceclofenac :
- Inhibits Cox-2 more potently than Cox-1
- Suppresses prostaglandins/cytokines/tumour necrosis factor
- Better gastric tolerance than other NSAID
Paracetamol :
- Potentiates the action of aceclofenac in relieving pain, fever and inflammation
At 6 weeks, patients with symptomatic OA (osteoarthritis) of the knee showed a greater improvement in pain and functional capacity with aceclofenac.
Aceclofenac is better tolerated than diclofenac in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.
